3 Pieces of Advice That Have Nothing to do With a “Taco Cleanse”

By: Kristina Bushong

By this point in January many of us have already faltered on our NYE resolutions. Let’s face it, after eating salad for five days straight the “taco cleanse” that everyone is posting about is sounding pretty fantastic!

This year let us commit to ourselves that matter what happens, no matter what obstacles we encounter, that we will stand on December 31, 2016 in a better position physically, emotionally, and financially than we are today.

That doesn’t mean that you have to make a million dollars, or lose 30 pounds. It simply means that every day you need to wake up and do SOMETHING to better yourself.

Here are some tips to get you started…

1. Value yourself! No one will if you don’t. Nourish your body by eating healthy and dress for success. I’m not telling you that you have to stuff 5lbs of kale into a blender everyday but skip the cheeseburger every now and then. You deserve to be confident in your own skin.

2. Silence the negativity. This one can be hard because we don’t always get to choose who we interact with. Just keep in mind that attitudes are contagious. Try to avoid those people in your life who do not support your dreams and ambitions.

3. Do what you love. Life is all about balance. You will not have the energy to do the things that you must if you do not reignite your passion by mixing in a little fun. If you dream of traveling the world but can’t afford to, cut costs by eliminating the things that don’t bring value to your life. It may take you longer to save, but you will get there!

Here is to making 2016 your year! We want to see the journey. FLYGHTCLUB is welcoming guest bloggers.
